The collection consists of a letter to Mr. Clyde Kilgore from Lt. Thomas Garvey, Co. F, 7th Infantry. The letter describes conditions in Morocco, military life, the privations endured, etc. The writer says he is working as a censor. On page two he writes, "I am on duty in a place I can't name.", then on page five, "One thing I will say for Morocco. The oranges grown here are better than anything the U.S. has to offer."
